“We are proud to host Shepard Fairey’s & Obey’s pup up retail store! Shepard Fairey and Deitch Projects are in midst of an upcoming exhibition which will also include a Shepard Fairey rendition on the famed Houston Street mural in Soho. In conjunction with this, Fairey’s clothing label OBEY will launch a special Pop-up Shop revolving around the “May Day” Art Show. The space which will be held at the Reed Space Annex, will include some exclusive showcases of some of Fairey’s items over the years as well as art and imagery from the celebrated artist. The Deitch exhibition will open on May 1st, 2010 while the Annex Pop-Up shop begins a day earlier on Friday, April 30th till May 16th, 2010.”

This coming Thursday, August 20 I’ll be celebrating my 23rd birthday at world renowned Cielo w/ one of my FAVORITE DJs, Danny Krivit! The originator of the disco edit, Danny has been one of the most influential DJs to me over the years & it’s always an honor to play a night with him. I’ll be on opening duties, so make sure you’re there early & that you mention that you’re there for my party! It may get you a comp or two! Hope to see you out

This is going to be MASSIVE! Always loved the HARD artwork. Recently found that the designer/promoter is MFG Productions out of LA. Some other stuff under their belt is Dance Right, Discotheque, HARD LA (duh) & The LA “Colt Guide” all on the east coast. Check out his selected design work here.

Got my girlfriend tickets for us to see it on Valentines day … not a big Broadway guy, but everything about this show was phenomenal. Go see it!
Found this guy on Scott Hansen’s blog, phenomenal illustrator with a huge archive of work & some real-deal accounts! The grit, texture, color pallets, clean lines, and compositions he uses gives his images a vintage/iconic feel that really inspires me. Check out all his work/clients here at his website.
