Wouldn’t you think that one of the most famous books on typography would actually have a well designed cover? LOL Here’s here’s my version of William Bevington & James Craig’s Designing With Type.

I did this self portrait in late 2007. The production process was pretty interesting. Started off as a pencil sketch that was later traced into Illustrator, then scaled up to 24×36. Prismacolor pencil was used for the color work, then scanned, and scaled down for different applications.
It says a lot about me, having music, DJing, fashion all tied in.

Native New Yorker Mike Joyce & The Stereotype Design Studio. Here are some beautiful hand-screened posters. See a full body of his work here.

Stumbled across this great artist from France (what a surprise), Mothi Lumbu. I love this beautiful cloud composition. Check out the rest of his work here.

Stumbled across this awesome concept this morning. It’s a “collaborative project that takes the work of artists from around the world, in the form of fake road signs, and turns the streets of Lyon, France into an enormous gallery without walls. The round red and white signs look enough like real European traffic signs that you might take them for granted, but weird enough if you notice them to make you stop and think.
This project has a delightful sense of humor, lots playful absurdity and a wonderful scale.”
Check out the rest of the signs here.

Fellow deep-house aficionado Dean K & I did some damage last night in Deko Lounge’s main room. Always amazing playing there, and it is with no question the best nightclub New Jersey has to offer.

Probably one of my most rewarding gigs to date. Such a phenomenal time playing that room along side someone like Sandy whom I respect and admire so much. Click here to download my entire 3-hour set & check out 30+ pics from the night. Enjoy!
